Risk Disclosure

The Digital Monetary Fund (DMF) is a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO) operating smart-contract-based digital currencies on public blockchains. Participation in DMF involves significant risk. By interacting with DMF tokens, the DAO, or this website, you acknowledge and accept the risks described below.

Market and Volatility Risk

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. The value of DMF currencies and any associated governance tokens may fluctuate substantially. You may lose some or all of the funds you commit. Stablecoin parities are not guaranteed under all market conditions.

Smart Contract Risk

DMF smart contracts have been independently audited (see Audit Reports). However, audits reduce but do not eliminate risk. Smart contracts may contain bugs, may behave unexpectedly under novel conditions, or may be exploited by adversaries. Once a transaction is committed to a blockchain, it cannot be reversed.

Custody and Key Management

You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys and wallets. DMF cannot recover lost or stolen funds. Loss of access to your wallet means permanent loss of any DMF tokens it holds.

Regulatory Risk

Digital assets and DAOs are subject to evolving regulatory regimes that vary by jurisdiction. DMF makes no representation that participation is lawful in any particular jurisdiction. You are responsible for determining whether participation complies with the laws applicable to you, including tax, securities, and anti-money-laundering law.

No Investment Advice

Nothing on this website constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Information is provided for general educational purposes only. Consult qualified independent advisors before making any decision involving DMF or any digital asset.

No Fiduciary Relationship

The DMF DAO operates without conventional management or directors. Token holders govern by on-chain vote. No party associated with DMF acts as a fiduciary, broker, custodian, or agent on your behalf.

Forward-Looking Statements

Statements on this website regarding future plans, roadmap items, or expected outcomes are forward-looking and subject to change. They are not commitments and should not be relied on.

DMF, the DMF logo, and “Digital Monetary Fund” are unregistered marks of the project. References to third parties (Aragon, Ethereum, Etherscan, exchanges, audit providers) are for informational purposes only and do not imply endorsement.
